Johannes Deutsch

Bio

Johannes is a documentary, architectural, travel/lifestyle and event photographer from Austria. He studied Art History at University of Graz in Austria and University of Kiel in Germany, as well as Photography and Interactive Media at Blake College in London.

Johannes published his photographs on news and corporate websites, in magazines, books and brochures. He photographed many events and carried out private commissions. For more than four years he pursued a long-term project documenting children with eating disorders at the children's psychosomatic ward of the university hospital in Graz. From November 2018 to December 2019 he worked for the photo archive of Erich Lessing, who was a Magnum photographer during his lifetime. Currently he is freelancing for clients shooting events and food as well as working in the arts business.
